Infertility can be a difficult and stressful experience and can often affect relationships between partners, family members, and friends. We recognise that this can be an emotional time for our patients. At Concept Fertility, we are privileged to have highly experienced fertility counsellors who are registered with the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA). Our counsellors are here to provide support, advice, and assistance to patients in preparation for their fertility treatment and during their fertility journey.
An initial free implications counselling appointment is available for all patients undergoing IVF/ICSI treatment. These sessions help to prepare you for the IVF journey and provide you with useful resources to lean into when the journey doesn’t go according to plan. Equally when the journey becomes hard, support counselling sessions can be arranged.
If your fertility journey and/or growing your family requires donor gametes or embryos, mandatory counselling sessions are required. Our expert donor team can guide you through this process and ensure you are well prepared for this journey.
For counselling appointments call Concept Fertility Centre on (08) 9382 2388 or send us an enquiry here.
As an additional resource, ACCESS Australia is Australia’s National Infertility Network which provides easy to understand information regarding management of infertility and lists available support services.
