Fertility Specialists
Dr Roma Poplawski is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who completed her full specialist training in Manchester, United Kingdom, achieving her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in 2023. She subsequently relocated to Perth, where she has been working as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at King Edward Memorial Hospital, also serving as the Early Pregnancy Lead.
Dr Poplawski has a strong clinical interest in early pregnancy care and complications, including miscarriage, pregnancy of unknown location, and ectopic pregnancy. She also has expertise in subfertility and assisted reproduction, recurrent miscarriage, and the management of menopause.
Her surgical skills include operative hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and LLETZ, allowing her to provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care across both outpatient and operative settings.
Dr Poplawski is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care and continues to contribute to the development of high-quality early pregnancy services within the department.

Dr Leathersich is a highly qualified and widely respected specialist in infertility and IVF, male infertility, fertility preservation and oncofertility, reproductive endocrinology, and gynaecology.

Dr Thompson has over 30 years experience in Assisted Reproduction with a special interest in laser laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.
Dr Zachariah provides consultation and treatment for general gynecological problems. She has a special interest in the treatment of Endometriosis and has expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
