Antonia is a Senior Specialist Fertility Counsellor and an accredited Mental Health Medicare Provider. She offers counselling services for patients requiring IVF, Donor, Surrogacy and egg freezing as well as support during treatment.

Antonia brings extensive knowledge and experience to the counselling services at Concept. In 2002, Antonia was granted the WA Edith Cowan Women’s Fellowship travel grant to research Surrogacy in the USA and UK. As Principal Policy Officer with WA Health, she developed surrogacy policy, resulting in the 2008 WA surrogacy legislation and in 2024, Antonia was awarded the prestigious Churchill Fellowship to develop best-practice counselling guidelines for gender-diverse people requiring ART.

Antonia is very committed to working with patients facing fertility issues, those utilising donor gametes or embryos, and private counselling for those seeking support post IVF treatment. She also sees parents of donor conceived persons who need support in communicating with their children that they are donor conceived.

Antonia provides this counselling face to face at Concept or via video call. Antonia likes to see patients and their partners at the beginning of their fertility journey to discuss strategies and provide valuable resources to minimise the stress of doing IVF.
